Ninilchik Natives Association, Inc (NNAI) is pleased to announce Loren William Prosser has been selected as its new CEO.  Mr. Prosser began his position in Ninilchik on January 1, 2018.

 

Loren brings a strong history of leadership and executive experience to NNAI.  He has a diverse background in commercial finance, construction management and resource development throughout Alaska.  Loren is an NNAI shareholder, grandson of NNAI elder Sophie (Cooper) Prosser, and the son of original shareholder William Prosser.  He has been an NNAI Board Member since 2015, and is currently Vice President.

Mr. Prosser was born and raised in Anchorage.  He has spent numerous summers in the Ninilchik area, where his family maintains a small cabin near Deep Creek.  He is a graduate of Whitman College in Washington, with degrees in English & Geology.  Loren has worked internationally as an educator in China, as well as throughout rural Alaska as a commercial banker.  Most recently he worked as a civil contractor and large-scale sand/gravel pit owner in the MatSu Valley.  Loren was selected as one of Alaska’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2010.

Mr. Prosser is filling the CEO position with the retirement of CEO/President Richard “Greg” Encelewski later this year.
