Lost or Missing Checks

Checks from NNAI and the NNAI Settlement Trust are cashable up to 90 days after the date of issue. With this in place, NNAI is unable to reissue lost or missing checks until the end of the 90 days.

After the 90 days, shareholders can complete a Stop Payment Request Form (PDF) to get a new check issued.

By requesting to receive a replacement check, the shareholder agrees to return and not cash the check if found at a later date. After receiving the request, NNAI will confirm that the original check has not been cashed. A replacement check will be issued to the shareholder if the bank confirms the original check is still outstanding. Your reissued check will be sent to the address NNAI has on file for you. Please verify that your address is correct and fill out an Address and Name Change (PDF) if it is not.
